Where Is My Bottle? ‐series intaglio printing
Inspired by my dream that I always seem to find something, the bottle here represent the thing I was searching. The first printing depicts the room with a number of empty bottles with four techniques. The precise line in hard ground is for the fragile glass bottles. In the soft ground part, the rough line emits a layer of lively emotions. Also the light line draws some unconsciousness things. And the aquqaint part is for the dark tone. Finally the dry point enrich the layers of my drawing. So after these series of exploration, I finished the second one, in which I draws my deconstructed body to find the bottle. It includes two technique: soft ground and aquqaint.
All in all, the two printing both inspired by the characteristics of dream: chaos, multiple layers of meaning and images and absurd scenario. What’s more, this series is about the my thinking that life is about discovering and exploring the unknown or unnamed areas.
